Oddworld: Stranger's Wrath HD nicht für Xbox 360
22.06.12 - Just Add Water und Oddworld geben bekannt, dass Oddworld: Stranger's Wrath HD (PS3) nicht für die Xbox 360 erscheinen wird. Als Grund wird auf der offiziellen Website Microsoft genannt, die einer Veröffentlichung im Weg gestanden haben sollen.

22.06.12 - Microsoft gibt bekannt, dass für Xbox SmartGlass das Dev Kit veröffentlicht wurde. Xbox-Entwickler können das Entwicklungs-Set von der offiziellen Website herunterladen und die Technologie in ihre Projekte einbauen.
Xbox SmartGlass ermöglicht es den Nutzern, mit Spielen oder anderen Medien der Xbox 360 auf anderen Geräten wie Tablets oder Smartphones zu interagieren.

Der echte Grund wieso Strangers Wrath nicht für die 360 erscheint, soll übrigens der sein, das Sony das Spiel zuerst bekommen hat.
Denn der Developer hatte seit geraumer Zeit eine Version für die 360 fertig.
"Gilray continues: "So we waited a month or so. They came to us again and said, do you still want to do it on Games on Demand? I said yes. They said, okay we'll put the paperwork through again."
January 2012: Microsoft rejects Stranger's Wrath as a Games on Demand title because it had already been released on PS3 and it wanted a simultaneous release. "We said, yeah, but we've been talking to you for 15 months at
point."
Microsoft also said games need a Metacritic of at least 80 to get on the service. "I said, yeah but the Xbox version is 88 and the PS3 version is 82. If you look at the Games on Demand list there are lots of games in the 60s in there."
Microsoft again reiterated its requirement for games to have sold one million copies at retail in order to make it on to Games on Demand."
